Your turn: Where else and what else can teachers get deals on?

Staples offers teachers a rewards program. Check it out at http://www.staplesrewardscenter.com/SORC/UserManagement/Login/LearnTeachersRewards.aspx .
I signed up for this deal and I got a thanks for signing up email, but no offer for the wipes. Does it take a while or was it supposed to come up right away?
Both my husband and I are teachers, and we are aware of several local deals…Many people probably know about the 20% discount off school purchases at Barnes and Noble and Borders bookstores. Just show your teacher ID or paystub and sign up. The discount teacher card is good for 1 year. A few times a year, both stores offer a shopping day for teachers for 25% off all purchases (for school or personal use). I also signed up for a Borders reward card in the store (anybody can, not just teachers), and Borders sends me emails about once a week. The emails often have 20-40% off 1 book coupons, other deals on books, and deals on CDs/DVDs. Another GREAT deal for teachers is free admission and OMNI tickets at the MN Science Museum. Again, just show your teacher ID and you get in free! This has provided many cheap dates for my husband and I :) The only exclusion is special exhibits, like the Titanic exhibit–teachers need to pay for that. Hmmm…that’s all I can think of for now. Carrie, thank you so much for your website! I am taking the year off of teaching to stay home with my baby, so we are down to one income, and I know we can do it (with the help of your website). :)
Cool!
Jo-Ann Fabrics has a teacher discount too….just bring school id to sign up.
