These are the best deals I see this week at CVS. Make them even better with the $5/$25 CVS coupon; your $25 has to be before coupons. Also, plan to shop early this week as some of the coupons expire September 30.
If you are new to CVS’s loyalty program and to Extra Care Bucks, I explain in detail here. Learn to read this shopping list here. Crystal, the Thrifty Mama, helped get this list started and I added to it based on the best deals I found in the forums at A Full Cup.

Thanks so much for getting this list up tonight!
MB – You’re welcome. I think the 12 hours of sleep I got Friday night helped me have ability to focus tonight :)
A while back I joined the CVS advisor panel (on their website) where they will send you surveys to complete to earn ECB’s. I got one this week, did a quick 5-min survey, and got 5 ECBs! Added to the $5/25 flu quiz coupon plus my saved ECB’s, I only spent $6 this week, and according to my receipt, saved almost $50! I recommend signing up on their website if you still can – I saw some posts on other sites that some people earned $15 in ECB’s for different surveys!
I just wanted to clarify the $5 off a $25 purchase, I thought this had to be before coupons, so would the Procter &Gamble idea really work….since this factors in manufacture coupons? Just wondering…thank you.
Erin – At CVS the $5 off $25 counts $25 before coupons. At Walgreens the $25 needed for their $5 off coupon is after coupons. Just to keep things interesting :)
Did the Tide and Dawn deal tonight – had $10 ECB’s from a prior week so only $6.42 out of pocket plus got $10 ECBs back. Pretty good for 4 bottles of Tide detergent! I used the $1 off any Dawn Hand Renewal from the Home Made Simple book instead.
Just stoped at the CVS in Fridley this morning and got some great deals! I went in to pick up the BOGO Pond’s wipes (same deal as at Walgreens) but when I got there they had Dove facial wipes on clearance 75% off which made them about $0.25 cheaper and I was able to snag 6 of them! They also had some rubermaid storage containers 75% and a couple of other health and beauty items that were 75% off plus I had coupons for them! I had enough stuff that I was able to use the $5 off $25 coupon so I got a really great deal! When all was said and done I saved over $100! :) Thank you CVS and thank you Carrie for turning me on to CVS…I hadn’t ever gone there before I started reading your blog!
Thanks to everyone that helps me save money. I am a stay at home mom and want to continue to be but because of finances I may not have that choice. Major coupon shopping may be part of the solution!! THANK YOU FOR YOUR EFFORT AND TIME DOING THIS :) :) :) !!!
This week I did not get a ad in my Sunday paper for CVS. So when I did get to the store I thought I missed the 3 day specials. But I was pleasantly surprised when the cashier gave me the $7.00 CVS bucks for the lotion. I ended up spending 10.48 and got 10.00 in CVS bucks what a great feeling!!!! I keep telling my friends about this site I hope the are logging in. Thanks for all the help I’m sure it takes up a lot of your time.
