Update: This is the same rebate that started in July, but I want to clarify how to access the rebate form. Click on the image that says “$80 in Savings” in the lower right hand corner of this page.
Kellogg’s is once again offering their “Fuel for School” rebate program. Buy 10 qualifying Kellogg’s products in a single transaction, complete the form here and send in with UPC codes and the original receipt to get $10 back and a $70 coupon code for Dell Inspiron Mini and Studio laptops. Items must be purchased before September 30, 2009 and rebates postmarked by October 9. You will have to register with Kellogg’s to download the form.
Before I list the qualifying products, let me share my two cents on rebates. Be honest with yourself about this. If you know that you are disorganized or too busy and simply won’t get around to collecting UPC codes, saving receipts and mailing everything in – don’t do it. Good intentions don’t count. Will you really do it? Personally, I know I will do it and have a track record for it, so I’ll likely take advantage of this. If you skip it, don’t worry – it’ll likely be back next year :)
Now, on to the qualifying products, which are basically anything Kellogg’s or Keebler:
Kellogg’s Cereal (any 10 oz. or larger)
Keebler or Austin Product (any 8 oz. or larger)
Sunshine Product (any 8 oz. or larger)
Eggo Product (any 4 ct. or larger)
Kellogg’s Nutri-Grain Cereal Bar (any 8 ct. or larger)
Kellogg’s Special K Cereal Bar (any 8 ct. or larger)
Kellogg’s Pop-Tarts Toaster Pastries (any 8 ct. or larger)
Kellogg’s Rice Krispies Treats Squares (any 8 ct. or larger)
Kellogg’s Fruit Flavored Snacks (any 6 ct. or larger)
MorningStar Farms Veggie Foods Product (any 5 oz. or larger)
100 Calorie Right Bites (any 6 ct. or larger)
Your turn: If you participate in rebates how do you keep track of everything to be sure you submit everything correctly?

I can’t find the form to fill out for this offer.
I saw your appearance on Twin Cities Live and thus found this website. This offer is great. Super Target every so often has cereal on sale. Sometimes it is in the flier, sometimes it is unadvertised. I eat Kelloggs Cracklin Oat Bran exclusively. Super Target has had it on sale, or coupled with a $5 gift card in the past. The last sale at the end of July which I found by accident (happened to be in the area), was an unadvertised temporary lower price of $2.50 (no rain checks). Normally $3.49 or $3.99. Since this happens only a few times a year, and the expiration date on the boxes was May 2010, I emptied the shelf (a box lasts me four days). So I easily met the ten minimum.
I haul my own trash since I don’t generate much and don’t want to pay a monthly fee whether or not I haul something out to the road. I also recycle everything, including box board. So I had plenty of UPC symbols to cut from empty cereal boxes.
I never would have found this offer myself. Thanks to your pointer I saved $10! Woo-Hoo!!!
hey i was just wondering what you mean by insert on 8/2 doesn’t it expire? next is is there any more coupon spots that done cost money and are not the same coupons? thanks love this site
Carrie, is this the same rebate as the one in July/August, or a new one? I already submitted for the earlier one, I don’t want to do this if it is still the same rebate, as they will then deny for submitting twice, correct?
Laura – it is the same one, but folks have been asking for more info on where to find the rebate form. I’ll clarify the post.
Hi, I’m pretty tricky when it comes to cutting out the UPC’s on my rebate items. I always get my rebate sent in to the company the next day. Here is what I do: If the item is a package in a plastic-type covering (like the Keebler cookies), I’ll take my scissors and cut out the UPC and then cover the hole with a piece of packing tape. If it is cardboard, (like a box of maccaroni and cheese). I’ll open the scissors all the way, and with the edge, I’ll score the outer four sides of the UPC. If I press just right, not too hard, and not too soft, I can peel the UPC off of the rest of the cardboard. If it is a cereal or popcorn box, I can just cut out the UPC. This works pretty slick. I rarely, if ever, miss sending out for the rebates.
On the negative side, I believe I’ve got a Wanchai Ferry (or something like that) in the freezer that didn’t take the packing tape very well. I’ll need to tuck that into a ziploc (to retain freshness!) :)
Hope this helps someone!
Hi,
I would love to start rebateing, I have access to hundreds of upc codes .
Can you sell the upcs codes or trade them some where. My mom was so good at this but has passed away.
Any information you can share would be so helpfull.
Hugs Dotty
I received my Kellogg’s Rebate in the mail yesterday, however everything I bought has already been eaten but hey I have $10 to use towards my food bill this week:)
Thanks for your help with all these good deals you show us.
I do rebates and like most of your readers (that have commented so far) I usually follow through and receive my rebate check from the company offering the free money. Coincidentally, my $20 Kraft Back-to-School rebate check arrived today!
Oh yeah the kraft rebate, I kinda forgot about that one:) Yes more money coming in the mail! Thanks for the note Mrs Marcos.
When I click on the following statement , nothing happens:
“Your turn: If you participate in rebates how do you keep track of everything to be sure you submit everything correctly?”
It appears that there is ananswer to this question.
