Added. Friday, August 28. Live from the Minnesota State Fair with Kevyn Burger at 9:30 am in the 107.1 booth (not sure where that is so we’ll both have to find it. I am also bringing a few goodies to hand out).
Not media-related per se, but I am attending General Mills’ “Eat & Greet” next week as well. It starts with dinner on the 26th and then the 27th hanging out with a handful of mom bloggers from around the country and getting to know more of the cool folks at General Mills. Unrelated to the “Eat & Greet”, but tied in with General Mills, I have been invited to do personal financial management training with some General Mills employees and the first session is in late September. Update: after this post went out I got another inquiry from elsewhere within General Mills and will hopefully do some additional training there in October.

I’ll be at Gen Mills on Sept 25. This is the only one on the calendar right now, but if it goes well we are talking about 20 more trainings with other groups of employees. I expect it to go well and more opportunity to open up there.
I discovered your site after hearing you on KTIS and just love it! Being a SAHM in the Twin Cities myself, and an avid coupon clipper, it is encouraging to know there are others like me. Just wondering how the General Mills Eat and Greet went! I read on a couple of other blogs about what you all did. Sounds like fun! Did you enjoy it?
