I don’t see any real hot deals this week, but the ongoing deals continue to be AWESOME. Marcy helped compile the new ongoing deals. Thank you!
A helpful hint: When the value of the coupons is greater than the price of the product it will cause a hiccup in Target’s cash registers. I mean that the register will beep, the cashier will likely check to make sure you actually bought a qualifying item and then will need to manually ring the coupon. It might help to shop at a slower time of day and prep the cashier when you start your transaction if you think this will happen.
Your turn: What other helpful hints do you have for folks just starting to use coupons at Target?

Banana were $0.53 the the Super Target in Champlin last week. Hope that helps.
I wasn’t able to find Apples for .99 lb at the Blaine Target only 1.99 lb. Also the Blaine Target doesn’t carry the Beech-Nut baby food. I went to the Beech-Nut website and Toy-R-Us is listed as carrying this.
Just in case you are having the same problem…I couldn’t find the Kotex mfr. coupons in the 7/26 RP, but did find them in the 7/19 SS.
Couldn’t find the bic coupon available on the listed link– did it expire?
Sarah-
You can get the Bic coupon on the Target coupon generator. :o) (OrganicGroceryDeals.com)
Bic coupon link is wrong. IT should link to Taget coupon here:
cut and paste this link: http://www.organicgrocerydeals.com/forums/view.php?pg=coupon_generator
or just click on the apple coupon link and you will find the Target Coupon for Bic under those expiring 9/30/09
until Carrie can fix
Fixed the link
Anyone rem’ber there being a recent ACT mouthwash coupon to combine w/current Target one available at organicgrocery.com ?
Thanks for the helping finding the right BIC coupon link!
Sarah
There were two seperate $1 manufacturer coupons for Act mouthwash in the Rainbow ad last week (exp 8/30/09) that can be stacked with the Target coupon. HTH
If you have a coupon for a free item that the cashier will need to ring the price up on, put it either first or last, so they can find it easily on the receipt.

I can never find the travel size dove/degree body mists. I’ve looked both in the travel section and deodorant section. they only have the regular size that is more than $1.00. I’ve looked at targets in Roseville, Richfield, and St. Paul. Has anyone found these to match up with the coupon to get these free?
Don’t know if it will work for Kotex Liners, but there is a Kotex coupon here:

The Target in Maple Grove did not carry the Canine Bistros, and the cheapest apples I could find were $1.49 a pound. Still a great deal though! The Edwards pies were on clearance starting at $1.18, but depending on the type some of them were as much as $1.80 (like the peanut butter chocolate kind, I really wanted to buy it instead of the cheapo apple, but I’m trying to stick to under $10 this week and need every penny I can save!)
I made just a quick trip to Target to take advantage of some of these deals, including the free mini loaves. I’m so glad those coupons are back! I love that bread. Check out how I did on my blog post here:

Also, has ANYONE been able to find the A1 for $2.09?? I have been searching for that the last few months and the cheapest I’ve found it is $2.59 for the small bottle. If you’ve found it cheaper please share which location you went to!
Hi All!
Has anyone tried to use the Skittles “Crazy Cores” Target coupon? It is for $1 off and doesn’t specify size, so I got 2 of the .52 bags and tried to use it. The cashier gave me grief for trying to use a coupon that is over the retail price. We all know that this can be done, but she didn’t let it go through. I was bummed because a little sugar sounded good! :)
I’m looking for the 4 lb bag of Purina Dog food. I’ve only found 8 lbs. Anyone seen this?
There is a 1.00 off act manufactor coupon to use with the Target coupon that expires on 8/22 at http://coupons2.smartsource.com/smartsource/index.jsp?Link=GLPAHOLHDARLS
The 18 fl oz bottle is 3.49 so after both price would be 1.49
I found the small bottles of A1 for $2.09 at the SuperTarget in Edina. They were sitting above the hamburger cooler.
I also found the A1 for $2.09 at the super Target in Fridley.
I also found the A1 for $2.09 at the super Target in Otsego
Thanks for the info ladies! I’m glad someone has been able to find the A1 for $2.09. Both of those stores are nowhere near where I live or work, so I’ll probably have to settle for $2.59.
Richfield and Har-Mar (roseville) ST’s have the $2.09 A-1 and Richfield as of yesterday still had Edwards pies on clearance. Don’t forget your bread apple and banana coupons.
I’m new to this whole coupon-game thing. I see that Rainbow does double coupons on Wednesdays (is that correct?). What about Target? Lunds? Cub?
Thanks for helping a newbie!
I was at the Monticello Target and the cashier couldn’t get the All coupon to work so she called over another cashier or supervisor and she said I couldn’t use the coupon for the trial size. I pointed out the coupon doesn’t exclude trial size and she said it doesn’t matter that they don’t intend to have coupons used on items that are less than the coupon. Then she said I couldn’t use the coupon for the Artisan mini loaves either because they were 99 cents, but that I could use it for another one of the bigger breads. I pointed out that the coupon specifically is for the mini loaves! She wouldn’t budge so I didn’t push the subject and the cashier was kind of embarrassed about how rude the other lady was about the coupons. I am not sure why some of the employees act like the coupons we use are coming out of their paycheck . . . . .
Kelly H thanks!! why didn’t I think of that???
heads up all the links are going to organic grocery
