I’ve got my appointment set for tomorrow at 2! Oh, I hope they accept me, I’m a mom of three who needs a new look.

I looked into this as well & received very timely responses to my questions. I was told that the products being tested right now are dark reds & intense reds. So, if you want to participate, you will want to have red hair. fyi…

I emailed Aveda yesterday & already went in today to meet with them & get set up with my preferences. You don’t have to do anything you don’t feel comfortable with to participate. They will just get you in their system and then send an email when they are testing certain products & you just respond if you are intersted to set up an appt. Very cool!
They didn’t say anything about earning gift cards & products, but simply having anything done free is a deal.

I just sent an email to register for this. Thanks!
Something that my kids and I do is taste testing for Food Perspectives, Inc. (www.fpitesters.com). It generally pays about $30 and is fun, especially for the kids.

I’ve got my appointment for “intense red” on Monday!! Ya for me, just in time for a road trip!

  6. Lisa says:

I went in for the consult on Tues and got a new color on Thurs. I was a little nervous as they explained what “test” they’d need me to fulfill for them. I had never colored my hair before (only highlights).
My conclusion is if you’re particular about your “color” OR you’ve never colored before, proceed with caution. My month old highlights are completely gone and my 2 week new perm’s integrity has been compromised. Money (and time) down the drain for something I absolutely hate. Now I’m trying to figure out how to put, yet, more chemicals in my hair, to get it back close to where it was before. They did not listen (as I thought) to my preferences and did not deliver the color or shade that was proposed. However, I did get a shampoo and conditioner at the end – unfortunately, not one I will use.
