August is also double points for Stripes Card members! My debit card is a Visa, so I don’t even have to go into debt to do this deal. Sounds like a date night to me!
TGI Fridays also has a BYOB (Bring Your Own Buddy) promotion right now. Each “Buddy” you bring gets $5 off their meal. My sister and I went during happy hour and I had a $2 beer, shared a $4 appetizer and each of us ate from the “right portion, right price” part of the menu. Eating out is RARE for me in these lean times so this was a wonderful way to save money while enjoyin a night out.
