what is the policy for walgreens on using two coupons for the B1G1 free deals? I have tried doing with twice and they tell me because I am not buying the second one I can only use one coupon. thank you for your help.
Which Walgreen’s do you use? I am having trouble using multiple coupons (one store/one manufacturer) at two different stores!
You can use a B1G1 & other coupon to get 2 items. It is the manager that isn’t educated on how coupons work, I think we may have had the same encounter with the same manager. You are buying 2 items when both a rang up, then you are having the coupon amounts removed at the end.
I am from the midway area of st paul so I have four different walgreens to choose from (one in midway, one on randolph and snelling, one on lexington and larpenteur and one on Grand ave) does anyone know which one would be the best one to use?
Also, buying Mitchum results in a $2/2 Walgreens register coupon. By doing multiple transactions and pairing with the ad coupon, you can get the first Mitchum for $1.24 and subsequent Mitchum for $0.99 each.
1st transaction: buy one Mitchum for $1.99 with in-ad coupon, use $.75 smartsource coupon. You will get a register coupon for $2/2.
2nd transaction: buy 2 Mitchum for $1.99 each with in-ad coupon, use register coupon from previous transaction. You will again get a register coupon for $2/2.
3rd, 4th.. repeat until register coupons run out :-)
I don’t know how Walgreens are about letting you do multiple transactions in one visit. I pass 2 Walgreens on my way home from the grocery store, so I just did the 2 transactions at different stores.
There are also Kleenex coupons in SS 7/12. There’s a $0.50/3 for regular Kleenex or $0.50/2 lotion Kleenex which are also included in the $0.89 sale. So here’s the breakdown:
Buy 2 Lotion Kleenex at $0.89 each ($1.78 total)
Use $0.50/2 SS 7/12
= $0.64 each
or
Buy 3 regular Kleenex at $0.89 each ($2.67 total)
Use $0.50/3 SS 7/12
= $0.72 each
