Tiffany - In my experience at the Maple Grove Rainbow I have always been able to do $25 in "shelf" priced items. A couple weeks back the Kellogg's cereals had a lower shelf price than normal that reflected the weekly sale, but it hass always been that the full price advertised on the shelf. I wonder if your store is different??? That seems odd though, since I think they program all their computers at Corporate.

Another note on the "do not double" or DND, I believe that if the coupon has a 5 as the leading (first) number it will double. I believe that those with a 9 as the leading (first) number will not. Carrie can confirm as well. hth

Thanks for a great list Carrie - my family enjoyed some Buitoni pasta last nite with fresh zuchinni from a garden! An enjoyable affordable meal. I've never bought fresh pasta before, but this was a good deal!

Just a heads up that most Rainbow's DO take the "do not double" coupons. The do not double is for when they are submitted for reimbursement. Rainbow is eating the cost of the double. My store follows the official rules for double weds and they DO double the do not double coupons.
HTH and wanted to add that every store seems to follow different rules.

Thanks for the lists! I've been a loyal Cub shopper, but these deals are converting me to a Rainbow person (at least on Wednesdays...)

My store was out of the Buitoni pasta packages on sale this week. But small packs of linguini were regularly priced at $2.09, so the doubled coupon got me one of them for 9 cents. :-)

hey there! just a heads up: i am finding that many of the printable coupons are not subject to doubling, including the Fiber One Yogurt $1.00 coupon and almost all of the GM cereals. bummer!

I have a question... I went to Rainbow today & my total before coupons (but after the total was rung up- including sale items) was $21 so I had to go get some more food to use the double coupons.(to get the total to $25) Is this right? I thought it just had to be $25 of REGULAR priced items before all sales & coupons? Thanks!

I did my first shopping trip at Rainbow today! Thanks Carrie for posting the list and all the rules about their coupon policy - it made it so easy!! It went pretty smooth, except I forgot to give them a few of my coupons and had to go back to the customer service desk.

For my doubled coupons I got 3 Pop Tarts & 2 Yo-Plus for free. I had to dig quite a bit for the yogurt, because almost all of them that they had were going to expire in the next day or two, but I did find some for the end of July and beginning of August. I also did the Wet Ones deal, and the Velveeta Cups (Although they did not take the BOGO coupon, but there was a coupon machine for $1 off 2, which was the same anyway!). The rest of my items were some items I needed but didn't have coupons for, but I got my total of $25.49 down to $11.49!! I think Rainbow is my new favorite grocery store!

Some printable coupons say "do not double" - Does Rainbow follow that rule?
example "Yoplus Yogurt" coupon you have a link to.

I love your lists! Thanks for the work. I always hit Rainbow on Wednesdays for doubles and now i check your list each week before I go. You have helped me find some of the deals I would have over looked.

Thank you -
