How does a B1G1 coupon work for doubling? Example with the Kemps ice cream how many would one buy with one coupon? Thank you for the help.
They don’t double the buy one get one, to make it buy two get two, the buy one get one stays at face value, HTH
How do you get the SS and RP insert? Do you have to buy the newspapers on Sunday and they are attached in it?
Yes. The smartsource and redplum coupon inserts are in the center of the Sunday paper with the advertisements and comics.
Just a FYI.. I always get the 10lb tidy cat litter on Wednesdays. The bag is $2.09 so its 9c after the $1 off 1. Good way to stock up.
The Post Trail Mix Crunch was not included in the $2.50 Post cereals when I checked today. It is at its normal cost of $3.79 (at least at the B. Park Rainbow) so the $2 printable coupon only brings it to $1.79.
Just got back from my third weekly Wednesday trip to Rainbow. I didn’t shop at Rainbow much before, because I thought their prices were ridiculous, but using Carrie’s list and coupons I’ve changed my mind. I spent a total of $27.42 after sales and double coupons. I got a ton of food for this amount of money, including 2 whole chickens and 2 hormel pork loins. I did notice that the keebler fudge shoppe cookies were not included in the sale, also the Post trail mix crunch wasn’t either, as someone else mentioned. Overall, I’m very pleased about the amount of $ I’m saving on groceries and my cupboards are full. Thanks a bunch, Carrie
I do not have a Rainbow around me, do they double coupons everyday or only specific days?
Rainbow only doulbles on Wednesday, I go about 8 miles one way to get the deals each week. It has reduce my food bill about $300 monthly. Well worth the trip. I get many food that is free, which makes me smile, food that I use or donate.
I just went to the Inver Grove Hgts store, they didn’t double the I can’t believe its not
butter coupon or the Yoplait yogurt coupon. Plus they wont’ accept any coupons over
$1.00. So couldn’t use the Post Trail Mix Crunch cereal. I was going to try it even
if it wasn’t on sale. Very frustrated.
Sharon – Sounds like a frustrating experience. Did you have more than 5 coupons? Rainbow only doubles the first 5 after you reach the 25 threshold? Or was something else wrong?? If they shoudl have doubled, but didn’t, then you can call there today, explain the problem and typically they’ll let you come back tomorrow to have it adjusted. –Carrie
Rainbow has eight oclock coffee on sale this week for $1.98 limit 1, there after $3.99. The eight oclock coffee website has a printable coupon for $2.00 dollars off 2 bags. So you can get 2 bags for $3.97.
Wow! Thanks for the Organix tip. I went to my store and found the rebate just like you mentioned. I love getting free shampoo! (and it seems to be nice quality too!)
Sharon, the misunderstanding from the post cereal is that the coupon isn’t doubled (yes it does state after doubled coupon on the list). They should accept the copupon but will not double it. Assuming the post cereal was on sale the final price is still $0.50. MATH: $2.50(sale price) – $2/1(coupon) = $0.50 per box. Also, each store can decide on whether to accept internet printed coupons. Keep trying, it is a learning process. I have been doing this for years and I still learn something from everyone.
The Rainbow in Savage said the coupons printed off the internet must have a ‘water spot’ on them in order for them to get reimbursed for the coupons. I printed the coupons from the links on this website and this water spot did not show on the coupons. What do I do?
The Maplewood Rainbow wouldn’t let me use the Pop Secret coupon with the BOGO sale. I talked with the manager on duty who gave me the corporate customer service number to call. I called them today and they said, “We are sorry you were not able to use your coupon. We will have the store director from the Maplewood store contact you as soon as possible.” So we’ll see what happens.
So, it is 5 coupons max per time (25$ minimum required)?
Then, you have to go out and back in again if you have more coupons (and another 25$ of groceries)?
