If you are new to Pocket Your Dollars this week, then you don’t know that my in-laws are Brazilian and they arrived in town today. My husband has been in the States since 1990 and this is the first time his sister, her husband and their two teenage boys have come to visit. It is also the first time they have met my two daughters, since it has been three years since we have seen each other. We are doing a full blown staycation for the next 10 days to show them the sights, sounds and people of Minnesota
Yes, there will be new content every day, but it might not be the volume of posts you are accustomed to. Please have patience with me as I enjoy this once in a lifetime opportunity to enjoy my Brazilian family in my own hometown.

Just wanted to say “Oi!” to you and your family! We have “family” in Brasil (an exchange student we had in high school) and me and my family have had the opportunity to travel there 2 times. What a beautiful country and what great people! Have fun on your staycation!
