There are lots of freebies this week at CVS. If you’re in on the back-to-school challenge CVS might be the place for you this week. Read this to learn how to read this shopping list and understand the abbreviations used. Briana was a help in getting this list started.
Keep in mind the possibility of buying your products in multiple transactions. That means you can buy a few things, earn your Extra Care Bucks and then buy a few more things where you can use the first Extra Care Bucks to pay and earn new ones (assuming your second products will also generate Extra Care Bucks). Doing something like that takes a little more time, but it allows you to spend less out of your pocket. My recommendation is that you do no more than 2 transactions at a single time before you go to the end of the line and let other customers check out ahead of you. Just to be courteous to those around you.
Your turn: How do you plan to organize your CVS transactions so that you spend a small amount out of pocket?

So sad, my CVS didn’t have the bic shaver on clearance and I actually have the coupon. I live in Madison, WI, better luck next time.
Carrie, we just got a flyer in the mail that had two $25 gift card coupons for a new/transferred prescription. Might want to be on the lookout for these!
Also, the Special K spend $15 and get $5 in Extra bucks, there have en a ton of Special K cereal, cereal bars, and the protein drink coupons printable online recently. Three of the protein drinks makes $15, minus three $1/1 coupons and the extra bucks. Or a combination of the cereal and cereal bars – isn’t this a pretty decent deal, too?
Laura – I can’t tell you if the protein drinks are a good deal, but I don’t like to pay more than $1 for a box of cereal, crackers or snack bars so I decided to leave those Special K ones off the list. But, maybe it is a great price on the protein drinks??? –Carrie
FYI – the purex sheets were 8.99 at my local CVS.
Went to get the deals for school at the Shakopee location, there was none left, nothing at all. So much for Sunday thru Thursday, so I walked out the store with nothing.
I was at the Eagan CVS this morning for the Sunday-Tuesday deals and was able to get most of them. I also spoke with the store manager about the photo books. He gave me a voucher allowing me to pay for the book today and create it at a later date (when I have more time.) He also said that there was a misprint in the ad and each household can buy up to 5 books. It was a great experience. Thanks for the great tips!
