Do you wonder how I do it? How do I know about all the fabulous coupons I match against sale items? Keep reading because I’m about to give away my secrets. And no, I don’t go to a booth at the fairgrounds and pick up coupons there. I use a couple of online databases that I think you’ll really like. From now on you’ll be able to save money on things that you need, but that aren’t on my shopping lists.
Couponmom.com
CouponMom.com is the best online database to find which coupons are in which Sunday inserts. The first time you want to access her database you’ll need to create a username and password. Then you can check out the “Grocery Coupon Database” from the left hand menu bar. From there you’ll be prompted to select the state you live in and you’ll get a coupon database limited to those coupons that your market/region received (did you know that the coupons in the Sunday insert vary by region??)
The site is overwhelming and full of advertisements, but ignore all that and use Stephanie’s database to look up a specific item that you need to buy and want to check whether a coupon exists from the Sunday paper. She does have the coupons from coupons.com available for print and she, like myself, has an affiliate relationship and is paid a commission when you print there (and when you print those here I am paid that commission).
Organic Grocery Deals
Organic Grocery Deals is the easiest-to-use database to find printable internet coupons and no, they are not limited to organic items. No registration required, just select “Coupon Resources” and then “Coupon Database.” I usually limit the “source” to only include “printable” coupons. From there I can search by product name to search for printable coupons. I must say, that no database I’ve found includes every printable coupon. Organic Grocery Deals includes the major coupon sites and some coupons on manufacturer’s sites. I make no claim that this is all inclusive.
Now, it’s time for a quiz. Imagine this. You are making dinner and realize you forgot to pick up salsa. There’s no time to run anywhere but the grocery store down the street and pay whatever price they are asking. I mean, dinners almost ready. What do you do? Take 60 seconds, check these databases for a coupon, then dash off to the store and feel a little better about your last-minute purchase.
A Full Cup and Hot Coupon World also have printable coupon databases. I have found them to have most of the same coupons, but I think Organic Grocery Deals is easier to use. These databases also have newspaper coupons and other types in them, but since they are not limited to my region I have found them to be too inaccurate for my taste.
Your turn: Which other online resources help you keep track of where you’ll find the best coupons either online or from the Sunday paper?

Thanks for the tips. In the past I have used Coupontom.com but I will try out these sites. I have found that coupontom does not always have all of the coupons I am looking for.
I like using http://www.wow-coupons.com for printable grocery, retail and restaurant coupons. Also FlamingoWorld has section on printables.
Has anyone used afullcup.com? Just wondering how they compare?
Carol – I have used A Full Cup and found their printable coupon list often includes old, outdated coupons and the interface is more cumbersome for what I’ve needed to do. I have also read the forums, which are helpful but not always very specific. –Carrie
FYI …Hot Coupon World & Organic Grocery Deals are sister sites and have the same coupon database. Both have so many members that are FABULOUS!
Thanks for the recommendations Carrie. I too like Coupon Mom’s Databases. I especially like her lists because you can sort them by the percentage saved, which makes it easy to find the best deals at each particular store for a week.
Just checked out the database at Organic Grocery Deals, and it does look exactly like Hot Coupon World. I like the HCW database, because I feel like I can search it faster than some and can limit my search to either printable, inserts, or 3 months expired (if I am shopping at Cub). Very easy to use!
The forums at AFC seem to be especially strong–esp for MN stores like Cub and Rainbow.
Thanks for all of your great shopping lists!
Jen

Thanks so much, this is going to be really helpful!
