Update: CVS has taken this offer off their website and I have heard reports that stores are not honoring previously printed copies. For those of us that planned to go later this week, well, now we have to wait for the next sale. And believe me, diapers will go on sale again and there are always more good deals to be had.
Later today I will post complete shopping lists for CVS, Walgreens, Target, Rainbow and Cub, but I can’t wait another minute to tell you about this awesome diaper deal. This deal is so good, that even if you don’t need diapers personally you should consider picking some up to have on hand as a baby shower gift.
This week CVS has the Jumbo Packs of Pampers on sale for $8.99 and you earn $5 in Extra Care Bucks when you buy 1 (complete details here). Couple that deal with the $1 off coupon from the June 7 Procter & Gamble insert and you’ll get diapers for $2.99 per pack! The website doesn’t say what the limit is on this deal so start with one pack, then check the bottom of your receipt to see if it says “limit reached”. If not, then do it again, one pack at a time until you’ve reached the limit. When you figure out what the limit is, please leave a comment and let us know.
Some are saying that the Extra Care Bucks are not printing automatically. Bring the print out of CVS’s website along with you, watch your receipt for the Extra Care Bucks and if they don’t print notify a manager. I have heard online that there is a limit of 3, but have not had that directly confirmed.
These will likely sell out fast, so be sure to ask for a raincheck if your store is out of stock. Crystal at Money Saving Mom tipped me off to this. Thanks!

I did spot a CVS with $9.99 super megas though – not advertised, just marked in the store. That’s a great deal – but it might have just been that store (Mounds View) since I haven’t heard anything about it elsewhere.
