Como Town, the amusement park attached to Como Zoo, is offering a Family Fun Stimulus Package this week, June 8-12, 2009. Each evening, starting at 4 pm, all the rides are absolutely free. Check out all the details here. You will have to find a parking spot in one of their lots because the shuttle I posted about here only runs on weekends.
Your turn: For those of you that will take advantage of this to make a low-cost family outing, what else will you do to round out the evening? My family would likely go see Sparky the Seal at 2 pm, then eat an early picnic dinner in beautiful Como Park before taking advantage of the free rides. How about you?

Thanks so much for this! The last day of school is Thursday, so maybe the kids will want to do this to celebrate. Yay!!!
FYI-We took advantage of the Free Rides at Como last night…..it was a ZOO! Even my kids, 5 years old and 10 years old had enough with waiting in line after an hour and a half……we only got on (2) rides each during that time. (We were prepared for long lines but nothing like this!) Oh, well-at least it was still fun at the Zoo before the Como Town experience.
