Many of the Oceanaire restaurants, including the one in Minneapolis, are offering a great special on Sundays and Mondays for the foreseeable future. You can get a 3+ course meal for $20.10. Each day there is a set menu for this special, but it always includes clam chowder, a salad, the chef’s selection of a fish entree and a mini dessert. Click here to find a restaurant near you. If you live outside of Minneapolis, but near an Oceanaire, call to see if yours is participating.
Compared to their regular menu, this is a steal. A higher-end dinner for two for roughly $55 after tax and tip – not bad. The trade-off is that the entree is set for this special so you don’t have any choice. Just call ahead the day of and be sure you’re a fan of what they’re serving. If you wonder, “why $20.10?” They are doing their part to wish for better economic times in 2010.
Your turn: Have you noticed the great deals on restaurant food lately? What specials and deals for eating out are you aware of?

I signed my husband and I up for the birthday club at Houlihans and we each got a totally free meal on our birthdays, plus a free appitizer with purhcase of a meal to use right away.
I bought a $50 certificate for Totinos off of the Star Tribune for $25 plus like $3 for processing. Not a super good deal, but I love the Raviolli from there, so saving ~$22 makes me happy. I also check Restaurant.com too…but watch for their codes to save more!
Jennifer – Totino’s is our favorite restaurant. We eat there for every major event / special event in our extended family. If you haven’t already, sign up for their e-newsletter because they email pretty good coupons. And, I do get tipped off on the REstaurant.com code. I will start posting them. –Carrie
