Coupon Round-Up 6/14/09

This deal has expired and may no longer be valid.

coupons

There was only one coupon insert in this weekend’s paper, a Smart Source.  Here are my picks of which of these coupons will likely result in something free or nearly free.  The coupons are grouped into three categories, based on when I think they could result in something free.

First, are those that you can use for a product at its everyday, non-sale, regular price and get a great deal

  • Kotex Pads (liners are regularly priced $1 at Walmart)
  • Mighty Dog Dog Food – Try me free coupon (a great filler to reach a $25 threshold at Rainbow or for using up Register Rewards or Extra Care Bucks)
  • 6-pack of PediaSure – after mail-in rebate up to $12.99 (a great filler to reach a $25 threshold at Rainbow or for using up Register Rewards or Extra Care Bucks)

Second, are those that will likely result in a freebie or great deal if the items goes on sale before the coupon expires.

  • Huggies Pull-ups
  • Colgate Visible White Toothpaste (Walgreens and CVS have run deals on this recently where a $1/1 would make it free after Register Rewards or Extra Care Bucks – let’s hope for another one)
  • A1 Steak Sauce (the small bottle is $2.09 at target – just 9 cents after this coupon!)
  • Schick Quattro Razor and Refill

Third, are those that will likely result in a freebie or great deal if the value of the coupon is doubled AND the item goes on sale. In the Twin Cities Rainbow Foods is the only store I know of that regularly doubles coupons.  Check out their coupon policies here.

  • Ziploc Big Bags
  • Cheerios Snack Mix
  • Alexia Crunchy Snacks
  • Oreo Cakesters
  • Dentyne Gum

Separate from the Smart Source insert my paper had a buy one, get one free Ruby Tuesday coupon in it.  I hope yours did too because they are on my list of favorite places.  Yum!

Your turn: What other deals are you planning to get with the coupons from this weekend’s paper?
