Carrie’s Picks: Coupon Inserts 6/28/09

coupons

There are two inserts in this weekend’s paper, a Smart Source and a Red Plum.  Here are my picks of which of these coupons will likely result in something free or nearly free.  The coupons are grouped into three categories, based on when I think they could result in something free.

First, are those that you can use for a product at its everyday, non-sale, regular price and get a great deal

Eggland’s Eggs.  Walmart carries these and hey, how often can you use a coupon on eggs?

Stayfree Pads.  Buy one, get one free

Spam.  If you’re so inclined you can buy one, get one free.  Personally, I’ll pass even if it is free :)

Dove Body Mist.  If they still have trial sizes of these at Target and Walmart, it should be free.

Degree Body Mist.  I haven’t checked for a trial size of this, but if there is one, then it’ll likely be free.

Degree for Men.  Matched with Target’s store coupon this should be free.

Second, are those that will likely result in a freebie or great deal if the items goes on sale before the coupon expires.

Colgate.

Playtex Rubber Gloves.  These often go on sale for $1, which would make them free after this coupon

Sure for Men.  I used this same coupon last time it was out alongside a sale at Walgreens to get free deodorant

Pert Plus.  Ditto statement above about using this at Walgreen’s previously to get some free

Macaroni and Cheese.

Pampers.  Target coupon from paper can be used alongside manufacturer’s coupons and you can price match when these are on sale elsewhere.

Lipton To-Go.  I think they have small, single serve packages of these at Target.  Let me know if you do/do not find them.

Pringles.

Third, are those that will likely result in a freebie or great deal if the value of the coupon is doubled AND the item goes on sale. In the Twin Cities Rainbow Foods is the only store I know of that regularly doubles coupons.  Check out their coupon policies here.

Chinet Products.

Wholly Guacamole and Salsa.  I have used these coupons alongside a great store sale to get guacamole and salsa free, but it has to be a buy one, get one free sale and doubled coupons both.  We can only hope…

Ortega Chiles.

Carefree Pads.

Reynold’s Wrap.

Quaker True Delights Granola Bars.

Wishbone Dressing.

Pringles.

If you are inclined to pick up a second copy of this weekend’s insert consider checking with local coffee shops, libraries or restaurants and ask if you can have theirs or get one for $1 at most Dollar Tree stores (locations here).

Your turn: What other deals are you planning to get with the coupons from this weekend’s paper?
