I am excited about this $5 off $25 coupon for True Value because both Home Depot and Lowe’s accept competitor’s coupons. We need some sand for my 2-year old’s sandbox and I think we’ll stop in this weekend to pick it up.
Home Depot and Lowe’s are both offering a 10% discount to those that show a military ID.
- Home Depot: According to the details here you need to be currently serving in the military with a valid ID. The discount cannot be combined with any other coupons. Maximum discount is $200. Good through may 27.
- Lowe’s: According to the details here the discount is available for all active, reserve, honorably discharged and retired military personnel and their immediate families. Must show valid military ID or other proof of service. Maximum discount is $500. Good through May 25.

Lowes is also offering a 10 percent discount to all military personnel May 21-25. There was also a $10 off any purchase over $50 and a $25 off any purchase over $200 coupon in my Sunday newspaper last weekend.
Forgot about using the True Value coupon at Home Depot – that’s a GREAT idea!
