Coupon Round-Up

Every week I look through the coupons that come in the Sunday paper and comment on those that I think could result in free or nearly free items.  The coupons are grouped into three categories, based on when I think they could result in something free.  You can use this list to help inform a decision about whether to get additional copies of the coupon inserts from today’s paper.  As for the coupons you can print from the internet, I would hurry and print them only because it is the end of the month and they may disappear at midnight tonight.  Don’t forget that you can print two copies of each one.

First, are those that you can use for a product at its everyday, non-sale, regular price and get a great deal. 

• Soy Joy Bars – Buy one, get one free
• Better Than Ears and other varieties of dog treats – Buy one, get one free
• Cutter Bug Spray - At Walgreens a small bottle is regularly priced at $2, which would make it free after this coupon
• Ever Care Roller - The travel size sells at Target and Walmart for right around $1, which is free after this coupon.  Note that the coupons on Coupons.com often change on the first of the month, so print this while it is still available.  Print second set of coupons here.
• Dentek Dental Picks – A pack of 30 sells for $1 at Walmart.  I have gotten a number of them free with this coupon.
• Science Diet Canned Food – Buy one, get one free
• Meaty Bone Dog Biscuits – Buy one, get one free

Second, are those that will likely result in a freebie or great deal if the items goes on sale before the coupon expires.

• Softsoap- Since these are Target’s store coupons they can be matched with a manufacturer’s coupon for the same item, if you buy the item at Target.  The June issues of Better Homes and Gardens and Women’s Day each have a $1 off Softsoap Ensembles coupon and hopefully others will come in the Sunday paper in future weeks.
• Act Mouth Wash- Hopefully it’ll go on sale at CVS or Walgreens in future weeks.  If it does, you can also print a coupon here.
• Aveeno Nourish+ Hair Care - Since this is a new product to the market, I would expect to see some deep discounts on it in coming weeks.  Hopefully good enough that we can get something free when we use this coupon
• Kraft BBQ Sauce - Walmart frequently has these for around $1.   Note that the coupons on Coupons.com often change on the first of the month, so print this while it is still available.
• Dry Idea Deodorant- Target had these on price cut earlier in the month, CVS had a great deal on them a few weeks and hopefully they’ll repeat it before the coupon expires.  Note that the coupons on Coupons.com often change on the first of the month, so print this while it is still available.
• Ecotrin - Walgreens and CVS have been running great deals on this.  Print two copies of the coupon while it is still available.

Third, are those that will likely result in a freebie or great deal if the value of the coupon is doubled AND the item goes on sale. In the Twin Cities Rainbow Foods is the only store I know of that regularly doubles coupons.  Check out their coupon policies here.

• Oscar Mayer Cold Cuts- Cotto Salami and Bologna often go on sale for $1 each, which would make 2 packages free when you use this coupon.  Let’s hope for that sale again soon.
• Ocean Spray Grapefruit Juice - Whenever I see a $1 off coupon I hope that the product will go on sale at Rainbow for $2 so it’ll turn out free.  No exception with the Ocean Spray juice
• 8th Continent Soy Milk- In times past soymilk would frequently go on sale for $2 per half gallon.  I haven’t seen it in awhile, but I am optimistic that it will soon so I can snag some free with this coupon.
• Daisy Sour Cream – Occasionally this is on sale for $1 and if it happens soon, then we’ll get some free with this coupon.
• Yo-Plus Yogurt - You’ll get yogurt free this week with this coupon.  Note that the coupons on Coupons.com often change on the first of the month, so print this while it is still available.
• Jello Pudding or Gelatin Mixes- I used these a few weeks ago to get 3 boxes of pudding mix free.  Let’s hope they run the same sale again.  Note that the coupons on Coupons.com often change on the first of the month, so print this while it is still available.
• Fruit Sense Vitamin Water - If they go on sale for $1, they’ll be free.
• Wacky Mac Pasta - I’ve seen it on sale at Rainbow for $1, which would equal free after this coupon is doubled.
• Eggo Bake Shop- Have I said that I love $1 off coupons?  Hopefully these go on sale for $2 soon.
