The Textile Center (www.textilecentermn.org) is having a huge garage sale this weekend. It runs 9 am – 4 pm on Saturday at 3000 University Ave SE, Minneapolis 612-436-0464. Admission is $1 on Saturday. The last hour of the day, from 3 pm to 4 pm, everything you can fit inside a bag (they provide the bags) is $1 and everything that is too big for a bag is 50% off.
Items include: hundreds of square feet piled high with fabric, yarn, threads, notions, kits, patterns, magazines, tools, beads, buttons, unfinished projects, and used books. A silent auction of vintage textiles, looms, various types of hoops and stands, sewing machines, sergers and other specialty equipment.
